The argument begins when Corey comes home and Leah invites him to come and look at trailers with her and her father. Corey tells her that he doesn’t want to go and adds, “I don’t think it’s smart to jump into it right now.”
Leah is upset because Corey went and bought a truck instead of investing the money in a decent home for the family. Leah hates where they’re living and claims the home is falling apart and she has to gives the girls their baths in the sink. She goes on to say that she can take the girls downstairs to bathe them in a real tub, but even that doesn’t always work well because the basement floods when it rains, creating mildew. She certainly doesn’t want to expose the twins to that!
